Washington DC, USA

In January 2008, I went to a GLBT Christian conference, organized by the Gay Christian Network, in Washington DC, USA. As this was my first time in the USA, I stayed for a few days after the conference to visit the city, see some of the monuments and museums, and the Catholic Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.

The Basilica took my breath away, and I found the American Indian museum to be of particular interest.
