Seychelles
We were very fortunate to be able to visit the Seychelles on two different occasions, first in 1998 when we stayed with a friend of mine, mostly on the main islands of Mahé and Praslin, with short visits to La Digue and Cousin Island. We went back in 2005, staying at hotels this time, and spent longer on La Digue which we'd only just has a glimpse of the first time.
The Seychelles are a group of tiny islands situated in the Indian ocean, close to the Equator, and despite being close to each other, each one has a feel of its own, and its own fauna and flora, which is unique to that one island.
Staying in the Seychelles is like going back in time, it is as if time stopped, but even more so when arriving in La Digue, which is said to be the most beautiful of the Seychelles islands.
We hope to be able to go back someday, and I hope you will enjoy these photos.
