Gay Christian Support
Next to my husband and children, my biggest passion in life, and what I strongly feel is my calling, is supporting and Loving all those who are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender and helping them see that God Loves them too, that Jesus Christ died for them too.
I do my best to help those who are Christian reconcile their faith with their orientation. And I try to show those who are not Christian that the rejection and discrimination they have often experienced does not come from God, but from imperfect human beings, and that God does Love them, whether they do believe in Him or not.
I feel that as a straight person, I am also in a position to be better listened to by those who are straight and who are not accepting. I do my best to bring knowledge of what it is like to be GLBT, and to dispel the common false belief that homosexuality is something people choose. I try to get people to view Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender individuals as persons, who go to work, go shopping, do house chores, and just lead normal lives just as anyone else, and who are not defined purely by their sexual orientation of gender identity.

The Gay Christian Network
As an extension of my calling, I am very involved with the Gay Christian Network (GCN), which is both an online and in person community, and has groups from all corners of the World. The main mission is to provide a safe place for those who are GLBT and Christian to reconcile their faith and orientation all while receiving Christian Love, support, friendship and prayers from the community.
The many different groups organize in person gatherings on a regular basis, and there is an official conference once a year, usually held in the USA. You can read more on the annual conference here.
GCN also has a very large database of churches who welcome or affirm those who are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender, and work with churches to promote acceptance.
Having been involved with this wonderful community for over 5 years, I can honestly say that I have seen many lives changed, and indeed many lives saved as well. Gay Christian Europe
GCN is truely wonderful, but the vast majority of the members there are American, and it can be hard for members in other parts of the World to feel understood there, as there is often a language barrier, GCN being only an English speaking community at this time, and there are also many cultural barriers which come in the way.
So to try and provide LGBT Christians from Europe a place with a more European feel, where people won't need to explain the European cultures constantly, and where language won't be as much of a barrier, I have created Gay Christian Europe, which will in the first instance be a multi-lingual Resources website, and which will later become a multi-lingual online community.
It features a section on gay welcoming churches, and resources, help and support in many European countries, books on homosexuality and Christianity in various languages, and GLBT Christian Testimonies in people's own languages. All the pages relevant to each country are in that country's mother tongue.
The Europe group has a Spiritual Retreat every summer.
